ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Jack trained at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee before undertaking a postgraduate year in 1975. He studied under the renowned pop artist Peter Blake at Hospitalfield House, Arbroath and won the Farquhar Reid Scholarship which he spent in Florence and Paris.
In 1997, Jack decided to paint full time and now works from his studios in Fife and on the Cote d’Azur in the south of France and exhibits extensively in the UK and Europe.
One of the most successful Scottish artists, Jack chooses to paint several distinct types of work and enjoys the flexibility of painting different subjects, in a variety of styles.
